Every project begins with a question: what is the single most important thing this space needs to make people feel?

Everything follows from the answer. The spatial sequence. The material palette. The quality of light at different times of day. The way a room transitions into the next. I work holistically — considering not just how a space looks, but how it shapes behaviour, fosters connection and serves the life that will be lived inside it.

Sustainability is not a checkbox in this process. It is a design constraint that sharpens every decision — directing material selection, construction methods and the sourcing of craft toward choices that are as considered for the planet as they are for the client. The studio works with a select group of skilled artisans who share this commitment, because the quality of making is inseparable from the quality of the result.
